| Review: | Excellent Reputable Company This company gives you a choice of various different under writers and there website clearly describes the different types of policies and is easy to understand. Unfortunately we had to file a claim 17 days before we were to depart for our cruise because my wife had to have emergency back surgery. We filed our claim and it took just a little over a month to receive the 80% back that we had lost to the cruise line. The customer service was excellent and it is easy to check on the status of your claim either by telephone or on line. Their policies are more comprehensive than what you can buy from cruise lines, airlines and the various travel sites. They will also cover preexisting conditions as long as the policy is purchased within 10 days of making the initial deposit for your trip. I would strongly recommend this company for your travel insurance needs. We will use them again when we book our next trip. They are the best kept secret on the internet Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | CSA does not pay It took them a month to reject my claim. I was told to read the fine print defining when a hurricane is announced as compared to my insurance purchase date. The letter instructs me to take the matter up with New York state insurance which I will now do. Avoid these thieves. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Total rip off We bought the insurance at the recommendation of the cruise line. Two of the four ports of calls were re-routed to less desirable ports because of a tropical depression. Travelex said that because we were offered other ports, they would not pay the claim. Do not buy this insurance!! Save your money. Comments [ 1 ] |

| Review: | TRIED TO AVOID VALID CLAIM My partner and I were planning a trip and a medical emergency came up the day before we were to leave. A claim was filed immediately. First, they "lost" the first package of documentation sent (Drs. note, all related papers, 8 pages of documents). After contacting them and finding out it was "lost" I mailed the whole package again. I contacted them again, and they began asking for additional information than that asked for originally. I demanded to speak to a supervisor, who very rudely told me they could ask for even more information if they wanted to! Obviously their business model is to try to wear down any claimant and refuse any claim they can. Believe the other reviews on this site that say they will use any excuse possible. I am getting my claim honored due to my persistence - so do persist. But do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE UNETHICAL!! Comments [ 1 ] |

| Review: | Travelex Insurance - a ripoff!!! We bought Travelex Insurance for a trip to Germany in May 2011. We missed our flight leaving the USA for Germany because of a car/Semi-truck accident blocking all lanes of traffic on the highway while en route to the airport. We did everything Travelex asked for. While our car was not directly in the accident, we were involved in that we were caught up in the traffic jam on the highway. We filed a claim and they denied it. We are going to take it all the way. We go to Europe twice a year but they have lost our business. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | NO "INSURANCE" WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! I STRONGLY CAUTION ANYONE THAT IS CONSIDERING THIS COMPANY TO LOOK ELSEWHERE. They will look for any excuse NOT to pay a claim. My son was ill and had a couple of clinic visits prior to my purchasing this “insurance”. I did not decide to cancel the trip until I found out he had been referred to an oncologist. THERE IS NO WAY ANY PARENT WOULD GO ON VACATION KNOWING THAT THEIR CHILD WILL BE EVALUATED FOR THE PRESENCE OF CANCER!!!!! I had already lost my daughter to cancer and so, OBVIOUSLY, was extremely worried! THEY USED THE EXCUSE THAT “THE CONDITION WHICH LED TO THE CHANGE IN TRAVEL PLANS WAS EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS AND/OR BEING TREATED PRIOR TO THE PURCHASE OF THE INSURANCE PROGRAM.” They also “regret that we will be unable to honor your claim”. This company knows nothing about honor. NEVER PURCHASE INSURANCE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Comments [ 2 ] |

| Review: | What a pleasure I wanted to buy travel insurance for our trip to Italy this summer, and tried to find a policy on several of the comparison sites. It was a confusing mess trying to find a policy and know that we were getting the best coverage for our money. A friend recommended tripinsurance.com. It was much easier to find a good policy with the way they organized them into good, better, best. It was much easier to compare, and the prices were much better too. I had a question about the pre-existing conditions waiver, and the guy that helped me on their 800 number was great. Very helpful and friendly service. If I have to make a claim, I can do it on tripinsurance.com This was something that was missing on every other comparison site I tried. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Very Pleasant Surprise I have bought travel insurance before - many times. Used to buy from travel agents, and then started using comparison sites. I checked out the rates and coverage on tripinsurance.com and was very pleasantly surprised. They had good policies with ample coverage at a much lower rate than I was able to find on any other site I checked. It took me some time on other sites to find policies that compared evenly in terms of coverage, and tripinsurance.com was lower. I saved about $210 off the coverage for our next cruise. I highly recommend them. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | another insurance SCAM total BS. another insurance rip-off. Claim they "look for ways to pay a claim", yet interpret any facts in a way favorable to NOT paying. I am looking for companies who use this scam outfit and warning them that using Access America could have a negative impact on their customers. Comments [ 1 ] |
