| Review: | Worse than throwing money away I bought "cancel for any reason" insurance after booking my trip. We canceled our trip, but TravelSafe denied our claim arguing that I missed the 15 day window to purchase coverage after booking so I lost the cost of travel plus the cost of the policy. |

Honestly your review of TravelSafe is unfair. It is clearly stated in the purchase process that in order to qualify for the "cancel for any reason" you must purchase your insurance coverage within a 15 day window of making the initial deposit. I can only assume you were doing all of this on your own and were not using a qualified travel professional. If you were then your beef should be with them. If you were not then maybe that is reason enough to make sure you are dealing with someone who can point you in the right direction next time. Sorry to hear this happened to you I know it must have been a very frusturating situation to have to deal with. |

Yeah, that's your bad for not reading the contract (or whoever did the contract for you). That's pretty easy to look up. |

shame on the insurance company who sold you the policy. they should know their product and should have known you were not within the 15 day window. |
