| Review: | Screwed out of $5,000.00 Wife and I had a cruise lined up for Sept 08. In July 08 we bought travel insurace on the recomendation of our travel agent from CSA. Four days before leaving a specialist advised my wife not to go and booked her for tests and possiable surgry. Feeling that we were insured we canceled per doctors advice. We notified CSA the same day and we were assured that forms would be sent, claim would be paid etc. In December 08 after a lot of screwing around we were advised that because my wife had seen her doctor in March 08 she had a 'pre-existing condition' and therefore our claim was rejected. My wife has never had any diagnosis or treatment and only missed time off work due to the tests. We bought this insurance in absolute good faith and now we feel that we were 'screwed' by CSA. |

CSA Travel Protection, founded in 1991, is a reputable travel insurance company held in high regard among consumers and travel professionals alike. In addition, the company is a member of the Better Business Bureau, U.S Travel Insurance Association and Travel Industry Association, among other trusted industry groups. CSA's official position is to afford coverage whenever possible, but travel insurance (like any other insurance policy) does not cover every circumstance. We're sorry we could not be of assistance in this case. CSA pays tens of thousands of claims each year, and we have many testimonials from satisfied customers. If you have additional questions as to why this claim was denied, CSA's policies or travel insurance in general, please feel free to contact CSA at csa@csatravelprotection.com. |
