| Review: | Took 3 months of submitting documents Couldn't make a cruise because wife needed emergency back surgery due to ruptured disc. Finally got paid after 3 months of sending endless paperwork and Dr's statements, Blue Cross receipts etc. Each submission was rejected for some new requirement they pulled out of the proverbial "hat". |

Hi @papabob56, I'm Bree with Access America's Help Team. Thanks for your comment. We hope your wife is feeling better. At Access America, we take customer service very seriously and appreciate your feedback. It's important to point out that we do not require pre-approval medical examinations, so we must request a good deal of information at the time a claim is filed. This is needed to protect the customer against someone filing a claim for his/her benefits, as well as to secure information required to make a coverage determination. We’re pleased that we were able to cover your situation. Thank you for letting us serve you. |
