| Review: | takes threats to collect My husband and I purchased tickets and ins for a trip to Macedonia to visit friends working there. Several days later, the friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, evacuated to London and then home for surgery and treatment. He also left his job. We filed for reimbursement after reading the policy "when a friend or family member becomes unable to host you". They requested so much documentation it was embarrassing for us to keep asking our friends. Finally our local insurance man, said "just cc a letter to the Oregon (our state of residence) Insurance Commission and you'll get results". And voila, a couple of weeks later we had 2 checks in the mail for the total amt of our 2 tickets. Try it! |
