| Review: | buyer beware! I recently purchased a trip to Paris, France for my birthday, and bought trip insurance through Access America. My brother sent me an email three days later telling me that my mom's health was in serious trouble...the following week, she was diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer. I cancelled the trip and went home to look after her, as I only had one week's vacation time, and money for one trip...I ended up also taking a leave of absence from work. My claim was denied...they said my mother had a pre existing condition. I didn't know my mom was sick, she didn't know she was terminally ill until after this trip was booked. My mom died peacefully the beginning of August with all of her children at her bedside. Access America unjustly and unfairly denied my claim. |
