| Review: | Fraud I booked a trip to Italy this past May. My father who has a history of lung cancer developed pneumonia and died. He was working and functioning up to the week of his death. He had had cancer for nearly 4 years. They denied the refund of the trip because he died from a "pre-existing" condition. How can there be a pre-existing condition to death? This means that no matter what a person dies of, unless he was hit by a bus, there will be no coverage. Worse than that is that the plain language of their contract does not exclude death as they claim, but to prove this I would have to spend thousands to sue them. They are just ignoring their own contractual obligation to pay and getting away with it. I will never use Orbitz again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
