| Review: | Refuses to pay legitimate claim! I recently planned a trip to NYC to visit my Dad who was in a nursing home. Concerned that I might have to extend my stay, I took out a policy. As it turned out, my father became suddenly ill (vomiting blood, etc.) and was hospitalized. I decided to move up my travel date. I checked with AA first to be sure I was covered...they said yes. Contennintal charged me an additional $770 to rebook. When I filed my claim, AA denied it saying my father's illness was a"prexisting condition". My father's only preexisting condition was old age. This was an acute condition and therefore a legitimate claim and they knew it!. I will never use AA again and would advise others to avoid them as well. |
