Beware of Access America
Beware of Access America's bait and switch tactics. I had a flight cancel for mechanical reasons (rule 240) late at night and lost my single night hotel charge as a result. When I tried to collect on my insurance they refused because the "flight 240'd" and "because the hotel was prepaid"!!! What??? Everything is prepaid and non refundable these days which is why we buy insurance. The amount they won't pay? $80.00 on a $90.00 full coverage policy!!!!! I am an ex travel agent so trust me, I asked all the right questions. Now I have to get into a battle with them. |
